StressStress can be created by being in an event or through circumstances that apply extra pressure to us. Stress can also manifest itself in the anticipation of an event or situation that may or may not occur and not necessarily the event itself. Hypnosis works effectively in combating stress by changing that overwhelming immobilizing feeling of stress into a powerful motivating force.

Using hypnotherapy to address those situations and/or daily events that cause stress hypnosis can access your inner resources to change your perceptions of the situation releasing you from that suppressed feeling of stress. Hypnotherapy for stress can use the stress that can cause inaction to help you to take action.

Hypnotherapy can give you back control eliminate the stress, or as many clients will tell you ‘melt away the stress’. Treating your stress with hypnotherapy can release you from those negative feelings that you have associated with stress into a wonderful fresh ‘state of mind’.

The people who do well under stress are no different than you, except that they have learned effective coping mechanisms, strategies to cope with or alter stressful situations, because you have probably noticed that some people are able to manage different stressful situations to others we all experience stress in different ways, it is when the stress has a negative effect on your life that it is now time to use hypnosis to de-stress.

Of all the definitions of stress I have read regarding stress this is my favorite: "stress is any change to which you must adjust".

Increased stress can increase productivity, after which things rapidly deteriorate, and that level also differs for each of us. It’s much like the stress or tension on a violin string. Not enough produces a dull raspy sound and too much an irritating screech or snaps the string. Just the correct degree of stress creates a beautiful tone. The difference is in how we interpret the event. That determines whether we experience positive challenge stress or (di)stress. There are many changes you can make with hypnosis to turn stress into a positive, beneficial tool to help you get what you want, when you do this it’s no longer stress and your feelings and behaviours shift in a profound manner, remember we can control our response. You can change the way you interpret stress by changing your perceptions and beliefs
