Stress can also manifest itself in the anticipation of an event or situation, that may or may not occur and not necessarily the event itself. Hypnosis works effectively in combating stress by changing that overwhelming immobilising feeling of stress into a powerful motivating force.

Using hypnotherapy to address those situations and/or daily events that cause stress, hypnosis can access your inner resources to change your perceptions of the situation, releasing you from that suppressed feeling of stress. Hypnotherapy for stress can use the stress that can cause inaction to help you to take action.

Hypnotherapy can give you back control, or as many clients will tell you ‘melt away the stress’. Treating your stress with hypnotherapy can release you from those negative feelings that you have associated with stress into a wonderful fresh ‘state of mind’.

Increased stress can increase productivity, after which things rapidly deteriorate and that level also differs for each of us. It’s much like the stress or tension on a violin string. Not enough produces a dull raspy sound and too much an irritating screech or snaps the string. Just the correct degree of stress creates a beautiful tone. The difference is in how we interpret the event. That determines whether we experience positive challenge stress or (di)stress.
