The symptoms people experience during attacks are a natural part of the body’s fight-or-flight reaction, which provides a surge of energy to fight an attacker or to run away. The body tenses, producing the classic symptoms of a fast heartbeat, shortness of breath and butterflies in the stomach and an overwhelming feeling of extreme dread.
The worry is often unrealistic or out of proportion for the situation. Daily life becomes a constant state of worry or fear which leads to distress or uneasiness of the mind and that is exactly why Hypnosis can be so effective in dealing with Anxiety and Panic Attacks.
